Have you notice the color mint green is popping up all over the place this year? I sure have, and I love it! But how can one add in some fun touches of mint green without having to do a complete re-do? Well, that’s what I’m here for! Today, in this post, which is the kick-off of my new series, “12 Things”, I’m going to show you 12 things to have a little fun with and get mint green in your life!
I went searching for some fun, pretty and sort of unique ways to get this spring’s popular color into your life. We all know that one of the easiest ways to change up a bit of color in a room is with throw pillows, so for sure I’ve included a really cute mint green throw pillow for you. But I wanted to take it a bit further, to find what is out there for lively ways to add this charming color to our lives this spring. Here are 12 things that were top runners for me, and I hope they might be for you as well… (let me know what you think of these choices!)
Take a look at this set of 3 prints, don’t you just love all the shades of greens, including mint, that they have? Certainly the contemporary, yet classic print on the shower curtain is an easy way to boldly bring mint into the bathroom as well. (or even couldn’t it be used for window curtains?)
Linens: Curiosities Wall Art $60/set of 3 (sale $48), Modern Geometric Shower Curtain $73, Mint green pillow $44.
I’m seeing mint green even in household items, like this vintage looking utility bucket. Candles are another really easy way to bring in a fresh new color into the room, and these sound like they smell wonderfully fresh as well.
Household items: Mint Utility Bucket $9.99, Italian Melon Mint Candle Collection starts at $5.
This mint green mirrored map is a gorgeous way to accent a wall.
Mirrored World Map $149 (sale for $119)
How about some really creative luggage themed furniture to coordinate with the map/travel idea? (the suitcase table opens for storage inside too!)
Furniture: Wooden Suitcase Slipper Chair $305, Suitcase End Table $235.
Let’s not forget about the floors, here are a couple of beautiful rugs that echo this year’s popular shade. The one on the top is an indoor/outdoor rug.
Rugs: Picnic Mint Indoor/Outdoor Rug 8×11 $603, Kaleen Helena Mint Rug 8×10 $929.
There’s even outdoor fun to be had with mint green. I’m totally mesmerized with this wooden kids scooter! And doesn’t this beach cruiser bike just shout fun?
Outdoors: Kids Scooter $104, Fito Women’s Beach Cruiser $300.
There you have it… 12 things to get mint green into your life!
So,what do ya say… will you be bringing in some of this popular color to your life? Are you even a fan of this popular color? If so, tell me, how will you get mint green into your life?

I love that rug! Thank you for sharing at Home Sweet Home!
Mint green is such a fun, soothing color. I’m considering using a green and coral for a room redo. Thank for the many tones of mint. I saw your link at Diana’s Vintage Charm party.
Love it with coral! Thanks for stopping by.
Liz, I love the color in decor and clothing! Thank you for sharing @Vintage Charm!
it is a lovely color indeed! Love it w/ tendencies toward aqua too!
I love that color. About to add green and blue to my family room for spring.
Fun!
I love mint green so much that I painted my office mint green and LOVE it.
Fun!
Yes! I saw an old dresser painted mint green in an antique mall last week, and I can’t seem to get it off my mind. I have a new old table that needs SOMETHIING, so guess what? Yes, I’m mixing some ASCP into the perfect shade of mint! Thanks for more inspiring ideas for adding this new fresh color!
Sounds like a fun project Kim!
